VESevo Smart Technologies, an innovative spin-off company from the University of Naples Federico II, announces a collaboration with E-Force Prague Formula team, a leading participant in the Formula Student competition.

The E-Force Prague team, composed of 100 active members, designs and builds autonomous racing cars. With VESevo’s device, the team will be able to analyze tire viscoelastic properties in real-time without causing any damage to the tires. By leveraging VESevo’s advanced tire testing technology, the team will gain a clearer understanding of tire compounds and how they react to different circuit conditions, car setups, and environmental factors.

One of the key benefits of this partnership is the ability to test and track tire changes over multiple curing cycles. By monitoring how these cycles affect viscoelastic properties, the team will be able to make smarter choices when selecting tires and refining their track strategies, essential factors for optimizing performance in autonomous racing.

The company’s commitment to support non-professional categories in driving the development of engineering projects, is made possible thanks to the versatility of VESevo device, which has proven its effectiveness across multiple motorsport disciplines. The device has already been successfully utilized by prestigious teams in Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula E, NASCAR, Stock Car Brazil, MotoGP, and Moto2.

Andrea Genovese, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VESevo:

“We are delighted to support the E-Force team on their journey, as their dedication and engineering talent are truly impressive. At VESevo, having emerged from the world of research, we are deeply committed to supporting student teams, bridging the gap between theoretical university models and real on-track data provided by VESevo. Thanks to this combination, the team gains a competitive advantage while also expanding its engineering know-how“.

Oliver Vidriczkó, Suspension Group Leader at eForce Prague Formula:

“Working with VESevo is a game-changer for us. Understanding the behavior of our tires will help us optimize on-track performance and improve our car’s autonomous driving capabilities. This collaboration will take the guesswork out of tire selection and help us make data-driven decisions with confidence“.
